Zurich is one of the nicest cities in Switzerland, and a great place to meet someone<\/span>,<\/a> go on a first date or to take your wife or significant other for a night on the town.<\/span><\/p>\n

Botanical Garden<\/span><\/a> \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0Botanical Gardens in Zurich\u00a0are simply amazing. They\u00a0have an enormous collection of\u00a0living species from across the world. There are\u00a0more than three million plants in this garden. Its the perfect arena to take someone on a date in Zurich. You’ll always have something to talk about (if you know about plants, you can show of some of your knowledge), and pretty things to look at in order to set the mood.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zoological Garden<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/a>\u2013 The Zurich Zoo\u00a0contains more than 2000\u00a0animals in open air, indoor enclosures and in the aquarium. Some of my favorites are the\u00a0giant tortoise house, elephant dwelling, the monkey\u00a0house, and the terrariums. Looking at the animals will keep the conversation rolling forward and provide great opportunities for you to show off how smart, funny or sensitive you are… And definitely don’t forget the penguin parade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Urania Observatory<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 You and your date can see a myriad of stars, or just look\u00a0at Zurich and the distant Alps through a telescope. If you’re feeling extra romantic, go online and buy your special someone a star!<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Modern\u00a0Art Museum<\/span><\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>This museum has special exhibitions of artists, as well as a massive collection of paintings, sculptures and other art forms.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Helvetia Square Flea Market<\/span><\/a><\/strong> – The flea market at \u00a0Helvetiaplatz is the largest Swiss year-round flea market in the city.\u00a0It takes place every Saturday with up to\u00a0400 sellers of all kinds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Uetliberg<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. –\u00a0At 2,850 feet above sea level, Uetliberg towers over \u00a0Zurich. It\u00a0affords a\u00a0romantic,\u00a0panoramic view of the city, the lake and the Alps. Go up by bike, foot or\u00a0train. The walk down is easier than then going up and gives a great view on clear day. Here’s a hint: Bring along a bottle of wine, some nice fruit, bread\u00a0and\u00a0cheese,\u00a0\u00a0and a blanket to spread on the grass to enjoy the view.<\/span><\/p>\n
